Any person who knows me, knows that my favorite animated show is and has been Bob's Burgers for a while! The characters are on point and the dialogue is more out of this world than a Jayden Smith wardrobe change.
But other than the obvious iconic characters like Tina, with her dry humor and itchy crotch, or Linda who turns almost all her dialogue into a song, Bob's Burgers has a plethora of minor characters that make the show the future animated staple that it is destined to become.
So without any further ado, here are the characters that make Bob's Burgers....Bob's Burgers (boy, that was anti-climactic)
8. Tammy
Tammy was first introduced as the new girl in school that befriends Tina. Tina tried to be the bad girl like Tammy, but that's just not Tina's bag. In later episodes, Tammy has quickly taken to the role of Tina's frenemy. In one episode, Tina competes with Tammy to become anchor of the school's news team. When Tina's story takes over the school, Tammy and the teacher try to smear Tina's name and it turns into a real s**t storm. (Yes, pun intended.)
7. Marshmallow
Marshmallow, the transvestite/drag queen/possibly transgender prostitute. Who cares what she is, everytime she pops up on screen, I know I'm gonna die. Usually just for a quick line, like when Tina delievered blueberries (in a basket that also had marijuana) to her and she says, "Blueberries, I'm ready for a bake-off. Marshmallow is always a treat when she shows her face!
6. Gretchen
"Cleanup, aisle my panties!" It's lines like that, that makes Gretchen, Linda's trashy friend, one of my favorite characters on the show. If you look at her closely, she's literally Linda's Tammy, in looks and character. My personal favorite Gretchen scene is when she loses a bunch of weight and talks about her tattoo not being stretched out anymore and that it actually almost looks like a dolphin again.
5. Zeke
Jimmy Jr's white trash best friend! Zeke is one of the funniest characters on the show in my opinion! "I'm redder than a skeeter on a peeter," is a line that I've caught myself using in real life. Zeke is always Jimmy Jr's cheering section and might be the most happy-go-lucky character on the entire show.
4. Jimmy Jr.
"Don't tell me not to dance Dad!" He's the dancing boy with a speech impediment, but he's also the object of Tina's affection. She's been chasing Jimmy Jr. since day one and she won't stop till his butt is hers. Jimmy Jr, is always able to provide you with a laugh though, whether he's for Tina or against her in the episode. (and yes, it varies a lot, they're in middle school) Although his song he sang Tina in a horse suit is nothing short of epic!
3. Aunt Gayle
Linda's cat lady sister, who is way too open about her feelings. Gayle doesn't really leave her house too often and her social skills are nowhere close to being spectacular. Gayle does like to dabble on the artistic/creative side though, whether it's painting tons of animal's anuses or creating her own terrible board game called Gayle Force Winds. When Gayle shows up, you know it's going to be a great night for you, but a terrible one for Bob...and usually everyone else.
2. Mickey
While only making a few appearances on the show, Mickey has definitely left his mark. Originally showing up by robbing the bank across the street. Mickey ends up ordering burgers from Bob, before taking him in as a hostage. After being arrested, Mickey returns tot work for Bob, while simultaneously trying to tunnel into the bank from Bob's basement. Mickey always provides a laugh and here's hoping we see even more of him in the future!
1. Andy & Ollie
Honestly the best minor characters in the show (I'm not just saying that cause they're my favorite and I'm completely biased...or maybe I am) are Andy and Ollie. Jimmy Pesto's twin sons and the brothers of Jimmy Jr. The twins are overly hyper, but also share a connection that sometimes border on creepy. My personal favorite is Andy looking at Ollie and subtly saying, "I felt you die." Another classic like from Ollie has to be, "I just peed Andy's pants." While annoying as hell, the twins are hilarious and will keep you in stitches!
